Every Expression Dance: This liberating free-form dance journey takes you on an adventure to release all that gets between you and your right to freely express yourself in the world. We will explore the blocks of separation that keep us from knowing and experiencing the body, breath and soul.
You will be invited to explore this months theme through a variety of creative expressive art forms. This is your opportunity to peel away the layers between you and your untamed nature.
The dance process is guided, but there is no choreography and no judgments.
This approach to the dance experience takes into account the whole person and their lived experience. It focuses on safety as well as expression through movement to integrate, regulate, and embody our thoughts, beliefs, experiences, and emotions.
This dance floor is a space to explore and reclaim your sense of self through movement. You will be guided to explore a vast array of different rhythms, with the intention to connect you into different states of being in your body. From grounded and nurturing, to wild and empowered. From joy and expansion, to stillness and connection.
I'm thrilled to announce that this month, I’ll be sharing the space with Michelle Crozier and her incredible voice and music. During our dance event, Michelle will weave live sounds throughout the session, culminating in a multi-layered, relaxing soundscape. This is where you get to lay down and immerse yourself in the full spectrum of sounds she creates—a creative mix of singing bowls, kalimba, shamanic sounds, drumming, mantra singing, and rich angelic tones.
Join us for an unforgettable experience of movement and sound.
Who is if for? Every expression of human. You do not need any dance experience to attend. There is no choreography to follow, just your natural expression of movement to discover, in a structured and guided way.
Everyone dances for different reasons. Some dance to become more aware of who they are. To feel free, alive, and empowered. To connect to the self, the community, and the vast world we live in. Some dance to feel what they feel and to be ok with that. Some dance to remember the human miracle that we all are. Come find out what dance can mean for you.
This is an over 18 event.

A little about me:
I have been dancing my whole life, training as a professional dancer, and later discovering the therapeutic and liberating power of free expressive dance. I've traveled the world, exploring and creating movement and creative expression events in different cultures and communities of people. I'm a trained dance facilitator, yoga teacher, massage therapist, and hold an Advanced Diploma in the therapeutic and educational application of the Arts and a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling using the Arts. I'm passionate about creating safe spaces for people to express themselves freely. I truly believe that what matters most in the world is how we treat ourselves and each other.
